conversation wif dad pressurises me!

dad: my fren's daughter juz graduated.
me: ok.
mum: so?
dad: juz graduated and Citibank already send letter to ask her over. but salary only 2.2k. so she rejected.
me: oh. its really quite low for a grad.
dad: then safra offered her 2.9k. and she went over.
me: oh ok.

after so long, (perhaps the last time was when i did badly for exams, and had to let my dad sign my report book, which i dont rmb when, cos after sec sch, my mum will send my report book), my dad hadnt sound so serious to me.
at that moment, i was thinking...
oh no! results will be out in late aug.
how did i do?
i am very worried!
