dinner at shangri-la. 28/10/2008.

but before going to shangri-la,
check out the dressing-up procedure!
it started to rain at 3pm ytd.
so my dad had to drive my mum and i to the salon to make our hair and to make up.

i had always wanted to curl my hair, and thought i shld give it a try this time.
but after everything is done, i tink.. i look so mature!
and wif the make-up, i had to wave to my dad cos he couldnt recognise me!

the colour of this dress is unique. but the very night when i bought it, i saw the pic on the right side from a forwarded email..
what a coincidence!
shld i be happy?

i have to tell a story abt my eyes..
we stepped into the shop.
this woman came and stared closely at my eyes.
w- the woman who make-up for me.
m- my mum
w: 这女孩长得可真漂亮.
(yes. they are from china.)
m: 你也是啊.
(and they start they pushing.. tts wat women do. and i juz smiled and smiled)
(and w keep saying and saying..)
(until the her colleagues also come and see me..)
(at some moments, when all stopped, this ah ma came in and sat beside my mum)
ah ma: 你的女儿啊?
m: 是啊.
ah ma: 很漂亮.
m: 会吗.
w: 她真的漂亮. 你应该开心才对. 你看她的眼睛. 多么美!
(okay! i got to say.. this was really the conversation. i wasnt boasting. although i kept smiling for the whole process. HAHA)

my shoes! from taiwan. have to thank amanda cos she was the one who walked wif me under the rain on the last day when we were in taiwan to look for the right size and colour of this pair of shoe. is my star wedges nice?

the setting is romantic.

i tink the VIP table is very nice. but too bad, my status not high enough to sit there. i was sitting juz beside..



once again,
it was super duper romantic.
the couple walked in after the 9pairs of sisters and brothers, followed by the flowergirl and pageboy.
and after they gave their speeches,
which made me teared abit (and damn! my mascara came off),
the bride asked for all single ladies to get ready to catch her bouquet of flowers at the aisle. being very spontaneous, my pretty cousin and me went!
and guessed who caught it?!?!?!
its...
my cousin! haha.

my cute nephew! was abit cranky last night though.
